Dr. Rashmi was born and raised in Bangalore and is the visionary founder and director of the Sri Sapthanga Natya Kala Academy (SSNK International Art & Culture Academy). Her institute is proudly affiliated with the American Institute of Culture and Management and regularly conducts Bharatanatyam exams, National & International Performances

- Bharatanatyam: Disciple of esteemed Guru Anitha Rao, Gurus Dr. Priyashree Rao and Dr. Dwaritha.
- Karnas: Received specialized training from Guru Shama Krishna.
- Carnatic Music: Studied under the guidance of Guru Sharada, Guru B.K. Sumithra, and Guru C. Ashwath.
- Veena: Learnt from Guru Sharadha.
